There are millions of people who watched that and would jump at the chance to support her, if for no other reason than that. Also, “blood film”? So are you considering it a “snuff” film also?
Kerry tried to be “manly” and showed himself to be a prime wuss by acting outside his comfort zone. Palin is standing directly in her comfort zone, showing the world who she truly is. I'll take the truth over media made lie any day, any hour, any second. No one will ever have to “guess” her meaning.
In the waning days of the 2004 campaign, Kerry's people commissioned a poll which showed the race was tightening and ground zero was the male hunter blue collar demographic in Ohio and western Pennsylvania.
Kerry needed a flashy photo shoot showing he was just one of the boys out hunting pheasants. One of the hired locals bagged a couple of the birds for him and the photo crew told him to pick up the birds to pose for the cameras in a harvested cornfield. Like the doofus he was, he picked the birds up by their necks and mugged for the cameras. Of course, he got blood all over his camos and someone had to tell him to put the birds down and pick them up by the feet.
The schedule was tight, so no time to change the camos. One of the camera crew stepped in and dabbed him off with a damp rag the best they could. They then rearranged the angle so the blood wouldn't show that much.
I thought they did a great job on the photo when it hit the mail boxes 3-4 days later. But the real pheasant hunters at work saw the bird blood and figured out exactly what happened.
That's one of the fun parts about living in one of these highly competitive swing areas.
