However, the Iranians are reportedly developing ballistic missiles with ranges up to 4,300 KM:
A couple points about the Cuban Missile Crisis. The first is we underestimated the range of the missiles there.
The second, the USSR had ringed Cuba with missile armed subs capable of taking out any of our air craft carrier battle groups.
Time for a few SR 71 flights over Venezuela and locate those areas, pay the UN a cursuary visit and begin invading Venezula as soon as possible.
