Will this cold weather kill off any pythons?
Yup. Kilt a bunch last year, even as far as the Everglades.
Most reptiles are very good at finding cover. Snakes go underground, Democraps kick the dust monster out from under the bed and crawl out of sight.
Only when the water gets close to freezing, will we see dead green anacondas and a python or three floating up.
IMHO, the best way to reduce the population of exotic snakes is to tell Thebedeau and Boudereau that those snakes are delicious either blackened or in a gumbo, and that they have no limit, no minimum, and the season is open all year long.
Problem solved.
