Does Plame have any Turkish ties of her own?

Yes, she had Turkish ties stemming from her assignment to Greece for CIA. She helped coordinate George H.W. Bush’s visit to Greece and Turkey in 1991. After working at CIA front company Brewster Jennings in Brussels, she was reassigned to Langley in 1997. At that time, she met Joseph Wilson at the Turkish embassy while he was receiving an award from the American-Turkish Council, so clearly, she maintained whatever Turkish ties she had developed in Greece. The CIA censored how she met Wilson from her autobiography. Wilson was 13 years older than her, so the possibility that CIA was trying to keep tabs on him is distinct.
