Forget about the "hostage" remark. He should not be making wreckless and inflammatory statements like this:

"I will take John Boehner at his word that nobody, Democrat or Republican, is willing to see the full faith and credit of the United States government collapse. That would not be a good thing to happen."

Seriously, his time is up. He's gone completely off the reservation. And Bolton was right: he's more dangerous than Wikileaks.

First, a POTUS should realize he is speaking before the entire world and should never place such a prospect in the realm of possibility.

Second, it’s like: “Nice economy you got there. Shame if something happened to it.”
