“The tax proposal announced by the President clearly presents the differences between Democrats and Republicans. Any provision must be judged by two criteria: does it create jobs to grow our economy and does it add to the deficit?”

Is there any point to trying to figure out what the hell she’s talking about? And one needs to remember that when Pelosi talks about creating jobs, she’s talking about getting more people on unemployment, foodstamps and welfare. And why are Democrats never concerned about the deficit when THEY’RE talking about more handouts?

Not that they are " really concerned " about the deficit, but, here it is in their statements :

We have heard this recently from the Democrats/Liberals " But, How are we going to pay for tax cuts ? " .....

There you go......

Of course, they never admit that spending has to be cut, that's how you pay for tax cuts.
