I’d walk right up to that toy robot and give it a swift kick. Furthermore, I would not categorize my action as requiring any significant ration of courage.
The terrorist of the world must be laughing their ass off at how easy it is to bring things to a screeching halt in this land of pantie waisted, limp wristed, PC correct, ignorant, helpless people who want to be protected from everything possible. There will be a lot more of this s**t, hide and watch!

I probably would have too. I'm known by my friends as a bit of a nut because I walk up to duffel bags, suitcases, boxes, etc that have been left unattended and open them up to see what's in them. I figure if it's a bomb, my death will be quick. :)
But in this case, people were freaked out and called in the authorities to deal with it. And naturally, the authorities have very strict rules to protect the front line folks as much as possible. I don't have a problem with that.
