Apart from a pile of BS like Russia is to exist independently etc nationalist agenda he is indoctrinated by his government media he got some points right.
Russians did greatly improved in understanding of liberties since Soviet collapse and he is not the first Russian I see who views PC as a fatal threat to freedom.
In fact it was Soviets who pioneered PC using it in 20s to penetrate elites with proletariat.
It was a failure for their society and whose of them who can compare modern America with Soviet Russia are always wondering on how similar it is turning to be. And the main feature thay are mentioning is a PC as a tool of widow hunting and labeling people who are against liberal or communist mainstream.

BTW, an opression of freedom of speech in Russia is greatly exagerrated by liberals and communists who are an opposition to their present government.
It is true that government controls most of a TV stations in Russia but it only comes out of a fact their shareholders are voters and supporters of ruling party while opposition is unable to afford a channel.
It is in fact very similar to US. You will hardly see a liberal agenda pushed by Fox. At the same time, unlike Russia, America has rich libs who has their TV stations and they won’t let conservatives there.
For that same reason Russian editors don’t want to see libs defending ‘innocent muslims’ and commies seeking equality ‘stolen by corporations’. They just don’t want to lose their ratings and jobs.
At the same time, Russia has tonns of papers and magazines representing every kind of views including as radical as you won’t see in US due to a fear of publisher to get sued or imprisoned. It won’t just happen there cause they don’t accept an idea of PC anymore. Gays are officially named as deviant sexually oriented there, disabled people are invalids, and a big black suspect is listed as a ‘fat negr’ on police wanted list. Not to mention they are not inventing PC phrases to name muslim terrorists as they are. Internet media has even more freedom there criticizing every official including Putin and his policies in a way no US media will.
The problem with that medias is a lack of interest from the majority of population. They are only attracts libs and commies who are a 15% of voters at max.
For that same reason i do believe Russian government is not involved in killing of journalists criticizing them. Nobody is listening them there.
It is libs and commies who are interested in killing their pals to get a few more attention because their deaths are making more news than their lives.
