WikiLeaks: British Police Arrest Assange

WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange has been arrested by British police over sexual assault claims in Sweden, according to Sky sources.

A fresh European arrest warrant has been received by Mr Assange's lawyer - as anger grows in the US over the latest leaked embassy cables by the whistleblowing website.

Sky sources have said officers from Scotland Yard detained the 39-year-old Australian at around 9.30am. Labelling the move as a "political stunt", Mr Assange's solicitor Mark Stephens said his client wants to find out what allegations he faces so he can clear his name.

Two women in Sweden have claimed they were sexually attacked when Mr Assange visited the country in August. He denies the claims.

Sky News' Rhiannon Mills said: "Authorities in the UK are involved because it is believed Julian Assange has been living in the south east of England.

"They are now obliged to detain or arrest him."

It’s difficult for me to give Assange a pass on anything, but having just read the story, there is not even a scintilla of doubt he’s innocent and the victim of two jilted sluts, one of them a vengeful radical feminist.

I think this story will make the guy more popular. Also it’s sad to see that attractive commie sluts are out there banging these marxist anarchy types.

Bingo. That's the perfect description of the upside of him staying in jail awhile. I wonder if he will be smart enough to stay put.

...against Assange and his children

He fathered children?? Ididn't realize, must have missed that. Pity the kids with a sick dad like him. How awful to live with someone like that and become targets of threats because of what their quite disturbed daddy does and has done.

While he's locked up, look at the sites and companies targeted by his thousands of followers who are vowing to take them down out of revenge or "payback."

According to one report I heard, Assange has two children. Although it's difficult to verify if he is actually his son and not an imposter, someone asked his son today:

"...have you been in contact with your father in the past few days ?"

The response:

" I haven't been in contact with him in the past few /years/."

“Got plenty of popcorn here. The problem with negotiating with any kind of criminal is that they’re criminal first. Anyone who would believe anything a criminal will or will not do is not making wise decisions.”
////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////

Write another version of that sentence substituting government for criminal and then ponder whether one is any more or less true than the other. As a friend of mine used to say with a wry grin, “Six dozen of one, half of the other”.

"especially if they truly damage US interests"

I no longer blindly defend "US interests"... It depends ENTIRELY on the agenda of those "interests" and WHO is implementing them.

If Marxists are setting and implementing the agenda for the US then I am FULLY against that agenda and want it to be crushed. If Marxists run our federal and some state governments, then it is my sincerest desire to see those entities utterly destroyed.

Blind faith in a government and its institutions leads to where we are now. I have faith in freedom and I hold faithful to the concepts of individual freedom and liberty as outlined by natural rights. Sadly, this makes me and all those who are faithful to the same, enemies of THIS state and government because of what it has become.

F'em I will watch and cheer, and if this is nothing more than a ploy to stifle our freedom even more... Then we will be pushed even further down the road of radicalization and our numbers will grow along with the anger. The F'ers may think they can predict the course this will take but things veer off course very quickly once people start bleeding.

But he wasn’t the only one in possession of the info. I guess we shall see what his accomplices decide to do with it.

From his wikipedia page:

Child custody issues

In 1989, Assange started living with his girlfriend and soon they had a son. She separated from him after the 1991 police raid and took their son.[24] They engaged in a lengthy custody struggle, and did not agree on a custody arrangement until 1999.[19] The entire process prompted Assange and his mother to form Parent Inquiry Into Child Protection, an activist group centered on creating a "central databank" for otherwise inaccessible legal records related to child custody issues in Australia.[24]

If Holder does not extradite Assange to US for trial, then we will know that the Swedish arrest is just for cover-up of BO’s involvement in WikiLeaks.

He was arrested for not wearing a condom. His defense is if he did wear one, it would leak.

BO is the source of WikiLeaks. Assange is just the useful idiot that BO duped into publishing his WikiLeaks.
