Why? What?
WE the people have sat back and allowed it to happen for decades.
ONE person had prayer removed from our schools.
ONE person has been trying to remove the word GOD from our pledge and our money.
IIRC, ONE person began the war against the Mount Soledad Cross.
Had every resident from Cannonsburg, Pa -- except for the freak, of course -- circled the Nativity scene and flooded city hall, the outcome would have been quite different.
Yikes. It sounds as though she writes about what she knows.
She claims to be “bi-sexual” and mentally ill.
More from the "resident" that caused the nativity scene to be removed.
Sounds like this woman has some serious issues. I would not waste time trying to contact her in any way as she has a child and sounds like she is close to the edge as it is. Pray for her instead and call Mayor David H. Rhome Phone: 724-745-1800
Email: mayorrhome@canonsburgpolice.com
and
Borough Manager Terry Hazlett Phone: 724-745-1800 ext. 14
Email: thazlett@canonsburgboro.com
Absolutely correct!
Thus my tagline:
It was the borough who took action, not the Knights.
Thanks for the ping.
What do you want us to do? Have the 4th Degree Honor Guard stand there with swords brandished? The local constabulary might take issue with that. The council will find another place for it.
Wow, my hometown. There has always been a nativity in front of the borough building. It’s a small town, and everyone knows David Rhome, he owns a local pizza shop. I am suprised he let one young crazy chics complaint make such a big change.
I live very close to Canonsburg. This, like many towns in southwestern PA, are basically middle class union towns, the older people are hard core democrats. But, there are so many churches in Canonsburg and those same democrats attend the churches. They used to vote the party line until this last election.
This misguided person wanted to make a name for herself, and because the ACLU will bankrupt anyone getting in their way, they caved.
I really am sick and tired of those upset with Christmas removing ANY religious significance from the holiday.
I also at this time demand that any ACLU loving liberal to open their doors on Christmas Day, to not take any holiday pay and by the way, I’m offended by a billboard on I-79, I demand it be removed!
Such nonsense. What has happened to my country?
I wouldn’t be surprised to find more of this type behind the complaints.
Politicians need to know that they’re being manipulated by folks like this and the decision should be overturned IMMEDIATELY.
That said, there’s nothing stopping people from putting up their own display on their own private property (unless they live in one of those tyrannical housing association neighborhoods)
Whenever he complained they just said “We're praying for you.”
Sounds like a disturbed person.
