Neocons, by definition, believe in my country winning any fight they get into. Obama’s mission is to make sure we lose as much as we can before he loses power, if ever. Radical Libertarians don’t care who loses what, as long as it isn’t them. I reject the cynicism of Strauss, but I’d rather have a neocon in the foxhole with me than either of the other two.
