The ‘60s feminists were not the original feminists. The earliest feminists were actually anti-abortion, because they saw it as a way for men to escape their responsibilities and leave the woman with the guilt.

The earliest feminists in the 19th century were pretty strange; into “free love” - they hated marriage; some were into “open marriage” and other kinky stuff. A few years ago on FR someone (wish I could remember who) had all kinds of info that I saved on a computer that died. Maybe one day I’ll look it up again.
