Why are you trying to punish the USO for having a so called comedian perform who told bad jokes? They can figure out if the acts who are willing to perform for the USO should be asked back again or not, don’t you think?

It's a "bad joke" to call Sarah Palin's baby who has Down's Syndrome a "retard"? And that's just one example of many of Griffin's past "jokes". She has a history of hating America and everything to do with the Right. She has NO place in the USO and should be cut off immediately.

I just sent the USO an earful via e-mail (rather than a donation this time).

I'll send future donations based on the response - or lack of a response - I get from them regarding "entertainers" like Griffin. In the meantime, there are plenty of other pro-troops, pro-America charities to support.

My understanding is that the USO pays for expenses (e.g. travel) but does not pay for the performance. Again, if the troops don’t like a performer, don’t you think that would be apparent to the USO? They sign people on to entertain the troops, not to annoy them.
