But you started that with your second post on the subject and directed it to everyone who disagreed with you even though you had it completely wrong then too. He even posted a photo taken at the same time the next day -- showing the exact same effect.

The fact that the plane's movement is inbound (toward the viewer) heightens the illusion that the object is ascending in the sky.
