Politicians change their positions on issues all the time, sometimes out of political cynicism, sometimes due to personal maturation.

Christie says he isn’t running in 2012 and I don’t live in NJ...still, he has become a national figure and really owes it to the people who admire his work as governor to let them know where he stands on issues of general and/or national interest such as the 2nd Amendment.

I think I’ll email his office just to see what response I get, if any at all.

Let me know what you hear back, Scanian. I understand that maturation can take a long time, and I’m always willing to listen to a pol who vows to fight for 2A issues. And I admire the man greatly for his take no prisoners way of standing up to the unions. We need more great politicians like Chris Christie, but the 2A doesn’t need any more enemies.
