Obama Should Resign If Approved UN Spying: WikiLeaks Founder

MADRID — President Barack Obama should resign if it can be shown that he approved spying by US diplomatic figures on UN officials, the founder of WikiLeaks said in an interview published Sunday.

"The whole chain of command who was aware of this order, and approved it, must resign if the US is to be seen to be a credible nation that obeys the rule of law. The order is so serious it may well have been put to the president for approval," Julian Assange told Spanish daily El Pais.

"Obama must answer what he knew about this illegal order and when. If he refuses to answer or there is evidence he approved of these actions, he must resign," he added during an Internet chat interview published online.

We should be spying on UN leaders. We should not be spying on the American people.

Zer0 should resign for not bringing the change (US out of the UN; UN out of the US) we wanted.

Unfortunately, our fearless leader has no idea what he is signing on to, or signing.

“Being president is hard” he was quoted as saying.

This is blowing up in his face and he is responsible; but he has no idea he is responsible.

Does this put to rest the rumor that Obama is behind the leaks to put a stop to Hillary’s career?

I could get used to President Biden for a couple of years.

I am pretty certain the the Gaffetastick one loves his country, which would be a big step up from the current situation.

At this point, I would consider seeing the Allied Moving Van pulling up in front of the White House to be a clear sign of Divine intervention.

Obama needs to resign for allowing this entire wikileak event to transpire. Mr. Assange did give the world several months of advance notice, there is no reason why this couldn’t have been stopped or at the very least minimized in its impact.

But as far as this?

No , that’s not a reason for Obama to quit at all. In fact, since Assange didn’t have a search warrant for these intercepted cables, they can’t be used against Obama at all. Its like the alleged spying on the UN never occurred.

Approving UN Spying is not close to being on any list of top reasons why he should resign.

Any doubt that when Netanyahu was rudely treated at the white house some months back, and was told he could use their secure phone lines etc., he had doubts about being spied on and left to go to the Israeli embassy instead,

guess he was right to be concerned,

our enemy's are treated with greater respect,

Diplomats are supposed to spy, especially on other diplomats.

So thats just silly.

But I think the people behind Wikileaks and the people behind O are the same people. That might be good reason to throw him out.

LMAO!!
Can this wikileaks dude be this naive? The UN exists for the purpose of acting as a clearinghouse for spies from every nation.

Of course, that said, yeah, impeach Ubama and get rid of the scumbag. I'm cool with that. Whatever works. The Democrats and their "mainstream" newsrooms would right now be relentlessly screaming for Bush's head if he was President today.

We would be remiss if we were not spying on the criminals at the U.N..

"“Being president is hard” he was quoted as saying."

I seem to recall quite clearly Saturday Night Live (Will Forte) relentlessly parodying President Bush when he had said something to that effect.
