That is just so sad. I read this earlier somewhere else. Can you imagine the horror of losing someone you love, then trying to get the body back home, etc? My prayers are with the victim’s family in Deutschland.

Unusual for an Oceanic WT and Mako to be coming into shallow, snorkeling depth water. They are primarily pelagic (deep water)fish.
Oceanic WT are frequently seen in Hawaii, but only out in deep water, often following Pilot whale pods looking for scraps. Aggressive and curious fish unfortunately..........
