Nah! You’re kidding me!
YOh that wonderful that you make furniture for fun! I did some of that some years back and it’s all still in wonderful condidtion! :) I raised my one daughter the same way and and both my sons can do everything too. Like you, I miss my Dad every day of my life. Treasured memories. Thanks so very much for telling me about your cherished Dad.
Her series is a wonderful look into her family and an awesome tour of Alaksa! Oh yeah, she’s running. She’s been planning her run since July, 2009. It’ll be up to us to get her elected and I’m going ALL IN.
Nope, not kidding. I promise. “;’^}
“Alone in the Wilderness”
I watch it every time it’s on. The dude had great skills.
Yes!
thanks mucho for the into. You know, I’ve watched many reality tv shows and I’m actually a fan of a few, but this one sounds more like a nature documentary/political ad than a typical reality show - interesting concept and, best of all, this series is annoying the hell out of the left.
I just now saw your post.
Sue was pointing to the dents in her head where the bear’s teeth had gone in. She stitched up the wound herself, then waited for days until help came!
Whatta gal!
Thank you, onyx! She’s feeling better but a bit lethargic—didn’t stop her from telling on her brother when he pulled all his clothes off and was running naked around the house—hysterical to see her chasing him with his pants and yelling at him and calling me at the same time to tell on him, “MOM!!! Gam!!! GAM!!!” (She calls Sam “Gam” for some reason, Sam calls her “Googah”, ;-)
2 y/o fugitive justice at work!
Now I’ve lost my voice, either due to laryngitis or a sinus infection, or both, feel okay though, thank goodness! I am looking forward to the SPA repeat on Wednesday!
They didn’t say.
Yes, she was listed as her sister. I’m not sure why everyone is suspicious. The old lady at the house was listed as Sally, Sarah’s mom. I hope that was accurate.
Thanks very much for your comments!! I love this series, but of course I love the Palin family so this is real treat for me. She is showing us viewers parts of Alaksa that few tourists see and we know this for a fact, because we have Alaskan FReepers here.
LOL! Please upload the video of that. I need to know what I am doing wrong.
ROFLOLOL. You have your hands full, but they sound like a delight, so I’m sure they *are*. Sweet you, dear pillut48, I hope you won’t get sick. :(
Home remedies usually work best and I’m sure you know several. I like warm honey and lemon juice. Just saying... Take care ((((pillut48))))
Thank you for your reply. I had caught the part about the bear attack. Sue went into the trailer to get her gun even though she had one closer by the river (wasn’t thinking clearly she said!); stitched up her own head; tracked and killed the bear; then laid there 10 days before help came (unbelievable that she even survived). I though, though, Sue had said something about her eye was damaged in some way, but it looked all right to me. Sure wish I had taped that segment.
I really needed that hug, thank you! {{{Hugs Back}}}
Hot green tea and honey seems to be helping, so far!
I was lucky enough to find the book that complemented the TV show, has some wonderful photos. He didn’t stay holed up in the dead of winter, he went out, took photos etc knowing full well if he fell he’d die of exposure. I believe he only wintered over once but went up there every spring/summer for a long time as you say.
Hi there FRiend....... I missed the thread last night, had to go to California for the weekend and long drive wore me out, I watched Sarah in bed and then crashed, I’m trying to remember what did their vegetarian bumper sticker say? It made me laugh.
