You know, I almost went deer hunting this morning 1/2 block from my house and just behind Wal-Mart and decided with the 25 mph wind making for a real feel of 32 degrees that I’d stay in my warm bed.

On the way to Wal-Mart later watched 2 deer cross the road. (dam)

Geez, now this is a hunting trip.

I really respect folks who can hunt though. I wish I had that kind of constitution but I just hate seeing things die.

All that said, I remember her talking about moose and caribou from even the election...and I’m dying to try some.

LOL! I know the feeling. Up here in Wisconsin, our mornings start in the teens and I was tempted to not go hunting last week. But once you’re out there with the hand and toe warmers, it’s bearable. Didn’t get anything, though.

I like Becker, too and he’s Sarah’s long tme friend.
He’s the one who told Willow that she sort of looked liked her Mom when she was her age, and didn’t know who was prettier. Willow smiled widely.

Pssh. Sarah could learn something from John Kerry. He went into the woods (after he got his huntin' license) and came out 20 minutes later with a dead duck. An no one ever heard a gun shot :)

I’ve hunted my whole life and have never enjoyed seeing something die. It’s preferable to get a good kill shot so you don’t have to.

Venison is available here. Actually have a buffalo and reindeer farms just north of here. They sell the meet, but the animals are not wild. Have only had bear once. YUCK!
