Hillary Clinton memo highlights Gulf states' failure to block funding for groups like al-Qaida, Taliban and Lashkar-e-Taiba
Saudi Arabia is the world's largest source of funds for Islamist militant groups such as the Afghan Taliban and Lashkar-e-Taiba but the Saudi government is reluctant to stem the flow of money, according to Hillary Clinton.
"More needs to be done since Saudi Arabia remains a critical financial support base for al-Qaida, the Taliban, LeT and other terrorist groups," says a secret December 2009 paper signed by the US secretary of state. Her memo urged US diplomats to redouble their efforts to stop Gulf money reaching extremists in Pakistan and Afghanistan.
"Donors in Saudi Arabia constitute the most significant source of funding to Sunni terrorist groups worldwide," she said.

Sarkozy is looking way down, too far down for a bow and his eyes seem trained on something. I think Odungo kissed his hand. I don’t think it was just a bow.
Hillary claims that “more needs to be done” while she and her cohorts steadfastly refuse to actually DO anything!
When was the last time any President stood up to the House of Saud and tried to get them to stop funding terrorists?
Reagan?
Let's not be too quick to give Hillary credit.
If she says "somebody needs to do something" while standing by for decades and doing nothing, what good does that do?
go to yahoo and put in (modern slavery in saudi arabia).
It’s such a quaint little “kingdom”.
We could throw the crayola board out the window with the sodomites removed, hands-down.
Game over. A fitting tribute to the fallen of 9/11.

Readers, today by accident, a must read web site was found http://www.statedepartment.com/ . This site contains the most conclusive information regarding U.S. and its involvement in the middle East that I have ever read. The articles are written by National Press Club Member, Herb Mallard who possesses substantial, reliable, acknowledged credentials.
One of the most profound and damming statements regarding the United States Citizens in active duty in the Far and Middle East
I summon my blue-eyed slaves anytime it pleases me. I command the Americans to send me their bravest soldiers to die for me. Anytime I clap my hands a stupid genie called the American Ambassador appears to do my bidding. When the Americans die in my service their bodies are frozen in metal boxes by the US Embassy and American airplanes carry them away, as if they never existed. Truly, America is my favorite slave. King Fahd Bin Abdul-Aziz, Jeddeh 1993
[end quote].
It is time each of you made your own Representatives aware of this attitude of the Saudis against the United States of America also.

That was in 03 & I’m fairly certain that more info is about to spill about the House of sodomites shortly.
We are their enemy & it’s time to face the knife of our “ally” in the fullet east.
The State Dept. is owned lock, stock and barrel by them(Saudis).
There’s so much to be said about your post that it would require a Blog site for all the disturbing ways the State Dept has been infiltrated/purchased. Too many things.
Never the less, your post is a great reminder for those chasing the koranimals down.
True. And if she understands the facts of the situation, there still is no guarantee she will act in accordance with the best interests of the country.
thank you for the information bayouranger.
This needs saying again. The only trouble is, how many of us are ready to be shot at, or worse.
If we get some hard evidence, we need some indemnities paid by these people.
We have many schools in North America that teach Wahhabism and/or are Madrassa's. Lots of funding is finding it's way right here on our own soil.
I tend to view Saudi Arabia a bit like Pakistan. In the sense that neither is a wholly trustworthy ally (to put it mildly), but the conventional wisdom has been/is that we dare not let either become a failed state because of the consequences. Pakistan because it has nuclear weapons, Saudi Arabia because of its enormous oil wealth and the consequences to the region if the House of Saud is replaced by something far worse.
