The repeal would take effect 60 days after certification, which Gates has emphasized this week does not mean immediately upon the president's signing of the bill into law. Oh, that makes me feel better -60 days... YES -much better to jump off the cliff s-l-o-w-l-y...
These leftist morons in the Legislature want to AGAIN cede their legislative authority to a policy making bureaucrat in the Executive branch...

The top Republican on the House Armed Services Committee is accusing the Obama administration of putting a political "spin" on the results of a months-long review of the 1993 law banning openly homosexual men and women from serving in the military, saying he wants to hear directly from senior officers on the issue. The author of the article seems intent on inserting their own spin e.g. the the 1993 law banned NOTHING. Homosexual sex and those disordered individuals who choose to engage in it have ALWAYS been banned. The 1993 law was but a leftist incremental step to protect and promote homosexual sex practitioners that could keep their disorder private... That did not work. Time to go back to complete rejection of homosexual sex and those that choose to engage in it.
