Ingraham: "Is anyone going to run as a Bush Republican in 2012 and if so who?" Rove: "Every one of them is going to run as a Bush Republican by saying 'I want to continue to fight the war on terror' -- with maybe one or two exceptions -- and, 'I want to continue the Bush tax cuts

Effectively, we’ve dissolved into three political parties:
Dems
Tea Party
Establishment republicans.
Slam away
the whole anti Rove thing has jumped the shark though
But still only two political philosophies.....
“Think of the little birdies...”
Point. Synthetic transfats and machine oils would not be good for them.
Fair point.
A blue blood is upset he’s called a blue blood.

Agree with you both!
When you throw a stone into a pack of dogs ...
As long as Rove spouts his nonsense people are going to comment on it. Suck it up and get used to it.
LOL. Did you make that up or did you hear it somewhere?
“Why are these people, who have already demonstrated their allegiance to RINOism, repeatedly being given a platform? Sean Hannity has become totally unwatchable by his inexplicable, repetitous guest list of dubious republicans (Dick Morris, Tokyo Rove and Newt Gingrich). Now Laura is following suit? Can somebody explain this?”
Don’t know, but I bet they take hits in their ratings. I know I have tapered off of both radio programs. Almost never listen to Hannity now.
Rush, on the other hand, is at the top of his game. He is letting fly what was gnawing at him during the Bush Mk. II years, IMO.
Rove, here’s an idea—FO!
And Mitt!
Well Condi has kept quite so I still respect her, but, that could change if she begins to read off the high minded moderate elites script. I have always thought Powell was like used dishwater but Rove what a lemon. I think the former 'blue bloods' have entrenched themselves behind their gated communities. Each day is like these politicos revealing their inner child stuck at a two year old mindset.
YOU MUST STOP . . . you are simply making sense here. That can’t be tolerated in the war between the Rovites and the Palistines.
In Shawn’s defense, Fox probably tells him to put Rove on. They’re paying him so he may as well fill some air time.
I’m not a Palistine but Rove turns my stomach anyway.
We might have one more young Conservative in the Senate if it wasn't for pudgy face turd blossom.
“Hes still hacking out the compassionate conservative nonsense. He is completely out of touch with politics 2010.”
And Reagan too. This is EXACTLY the point - and good on you for spotting it :-) And it is a Bush trait - ‘kinder and gentler’ (precursor to compassionate conservative), had no reference in the first place. There was nothing unkind or not gentle about Reagan. He did what was needed to be done to save the economy - raise interest rates and lower taxes. There was some uncomfortableness (unemployment basically) but it was shorter than the longer unpleasantness that was to come if he would have went with Keynes instead of Friedman - what George HW did with raising taxes and what George W did with the bailout. Which is part of the reason we’re still seeing 10% unemployment 2 years after the ball dropped.
GHW Bush didn’t understand it in the primaries (voodoo economics) and didn’t get it once he became president (read my lips with no follow through). They simply don’t get a most basic tenet of free market economics and the conservative cause, or (more likely) they couldn’t stand the media pressure to carry it through. Reagan could and I think Palin could too. That’s what makes them different from the Bushs and Rove.
And ‘blood’ has nothing to do with it. Rove was trying to make the point (Laura refused to let him) that the Bushs weren’t really blue bloods all of their lives and to an extent, he was right on that. They basically get ‘distracted’ when the chips are down - on taxes for GHWB and on the bailout for GWB.
You are an idiot. Rove and his high minded blabbering comes out of the bowels of the French Revolution, nothing conservative about it. These 'blue bloods' are totally clueless what it means to live outside their gated communities. When they shed all their worldly goods and stop living off their government protection then they can begin to tell US what compassion really is.
