No... all three of those presented themselves as conservatives and when it became obvious that they were liars... we turned on them... it is that simple. not exactly...I questioned all of them early on and was lambasted as a bigot on the latter two....there was evidence enuff they were soft before they were feted here
like illegals...some of us knew it was a problem 8 years a go but it's only since 2006-2007 here that the majority came on board...in the meantime...plenty got shown the door over it
the forum turns yes...but there is a lag...and careful not to get get caught in the middle...lol
think back to 99 and the election
things can get fickle...and just wait for this coming election...whew...it will be nasty nasty here

Just this week, I heard Bill Bennett support the DREAM Act.
LLS, I usually don’t participate as often...sometimes not at all...during election season for the reasons wardaddy cited.
It can get very ugly.

No... Jim has control of this community like never before... and he will only allow support for Conservatives. Try to push a rino or liberal causes and watch what happens. Jim has his list... and he’s checking it twice...

BTW, bill bennett is a liberal and... well we will just leave it at that. He is a big government progressive... that is the nicest thing that I can say about him.

It may have appeared that way at one time, because anyone who criticized any of them were banned quickly.

Bill Bennett is an Establishment Republican, and the DREAM Act is the divining rod for us to consider.
To be totally honest with you, he didn’t say one other thing with which I disagreed.
He’s not progressive...just wrong headed on illegal immigration.
One more opinion, as long as I have the floor. ;o)
We need to be forceful, and opinionated when it comes to these Establishment Republicans, and the party leadership.
Because of them, I’ve not been a member of the party since ‘06, except to vote in the primaries. And, in the ‘08 primary, I was a ‘rat for as long as it took for me to vote for Hillary. lol

Oh I agree but one thing... bennett said on his show, when talking with santorum... that he agreed that the country had moved left and that the Era of Reagan was over and that the republicrat party had to move left along with the people... man he is a progressive at heart and he could not have been more wrong. This last election proves that fact in spades.
I hang up on the republicrats when they call me these days... several years of trying to explain why I no longer give to the party went unheeded. GOD bless you FRiend and ping me if you need me. Merry Christmas to you and your family!

I don’t get to hear his show. When did he say that the Era of Reagan was over? That was a talking point after Obama won the election, and many establishment Republicans were saying the same thing.
However, if Bennett said that, then I disown him completely.
After hearing him speak early this past week, and knowing what he said then, he’s a hypocrit and, like Newt, can change his stripes as he sees fit. They both go whichever the way the wind is blowing.
The “republicrats” don’t call me anymore...not after the last call I got from McCain’s people to support him in his Senate race. I told them exactly what I thought of McCain, and that I voted for Sarah...not for McCain. I think I heard his jaw drop. lol
Merry Christmas to you, my good and dear FRiend...and I wish you happiness, good health, and much success in the coming New Year. ;o)

He said it in the context of defending his good friend michael steele... who he allowed to use his Morning in America radio show to politic for rnc chair... and steele said it several times. I grant you that he was trying to explain steele’s comment in a better light, by trying to explain some convoluted excuse as to it not really meaning what is clearly states... but the fact that he could do that, shows he is not a true Conservative. Reagan had many surrounding him that were not Conservatives... they fooled him... don't feel bad. bennett was one of them. Now Levin... there is a Reagan administration Conservative that was, is and forever shall be conservative. I also tend to write off people over things like this... and sometimes I am wrong. Maybe I am here... but I cannot find any evidence to lead me to that conclusion. GOD bless and I hope that you and your family remain safe and have a joyous Christmas FRiend!

lol...really. Evolution of Rove.
To: ChicagoConservative27
FNC would be wise to keep the fat, ugly Rove off their air.
Every time I see Rove on FNC, he appears to have gained a few more pounds and looks more and more like a villain from a Dickens novel.
I should also say that every time I see Rove on FNC, I either fast forward or change the channel.
