To: Inyo-Mono

Remote, difficult of access, families that go way into the mists of history, and play some mean banjos, fiddles, etc, whilst singing the “auld tyme” songs? Modern technology still under suspicion? Maybe even a snake-handling church (just for local color, mind you, I hate snakes with a passion)? All of this having a certain branch of “southern” flavor? I guess I need a Time Machine rather than a map, LOL.

I know hat you mean! My ancestors lived in the “hollers” of western Virginia in the 1700s and early 1800s. Now we are in the rural, vast mountains and deserts of the West.
