It’s all about the fame these days. I bet you a strong majority of teens and twentysomethings would rather be famous than talented. And why not? It’s not like you see productive members of society lauded anywhere but Chamber of Commerce meetings. The dregs of humanity own our TV screens and often the bookshelves. And they seem to be pretty well-off as a result. Bristol Palin’s celebrity is merely a symptom of the disease. But I don’t fault her for bashing Olbermann back—it keeps the fame going, and the reality tv dollars, for an otherwise no-education, no-talent kid, rolling in.

Bristol has done nothing wrong, what teenage working mom would have turned down $345,000.00 for a 2 month participation on DWTS, that also helped her pro-life, pro-abstinence campaign, and also helped her mom?

What a crappy thing to say. Seriously, that was pure trash.
