Ryan Newell is "Army to the bone," friends and family say of the decorated military veteran who joined the service at 17, lost both legs in an explosion in Afghanistan and now stands accused of stalking members of a controversial Topeka church.
So this vet is stalking? But the Phelps arent?
I can’t be the only one that’s impressed that a guy with no legs was stalking five (crazy) people.
I have a hard time mustering sympathy for anyone connected with westboro.
SnakeDoc
I don’t get it. Those Phelps gangs are scum of the Earth. I put them in the same category with Charles Manson, Osama bin Laden, Adolf Hitler, and Joseph Stalin.
Thats one of the reasons I hope the Westboro nutcases never show up here. Id have a difficult time maintaining my cool.
I want to be on that jury.
Wow. Talk about opposite day.
The WBC is a fake church, I think we would all agree on that. I think these kinds of lawsuits are the whole point of their shenanigans.
I don;t get it either.
Here is what needs to be done to those idiots. (non violent of course)
Get 100 people and follow each them wherever they go, the store, the bank, the park with their kids, everywhere. Make THEIR life a miserable hell.
Scream at them wherever they go 24/7.
Find a good lawyer to see what is borderline legal.
I see WBC no differently from Manson family, People’s Temple, and Al-Qaeda.
I am sure we can get this guy off in a jury trial but how about prosecuting the Phelps for violating the handicapped accessibility law, and a bunch of other stuff.
I'd ask how low can they go chasing around a guy without legs, but we already know the Phelps are already at rock bottom on the couth business.
How revolting, makes me ill Ptarmy!
Same here! We should put WBC, Al-Qaeda, Joran van der Sloot, Lori Drew, South Hadley 6, and Jennifer Petkov in a chamber and expose them to deadly nuclear radiation and give them severe radiation poisoning.
Stalking hell, that’s scouting. The difference is intent.
And no, I wouldn’t shed a tear.
Screw that, they need to be hung for treason for giving aid and confort to our enemies during a time of war, trial optional.
I would donate money for a big Gay/Lesbian/Transgender organization to build a big meeting house next door to this fake church compound.
From what I have heard, I suspect that the Westboro modus operandi is to do despicable things, stir up outrage, and then sue people.
Could be quite profitable. But I suspect they picked a bad target in this case.
Not guilty. Jury nullification if necessary.
I guess I don’t need to tell you what I think of this, eh?
This is NUTS. DOes he have a legal defense fund? How could any law officer bring charges against him and not wince?
