Wasn’t it earlier this week that all 42 Republican senators signed a letter stating, in effect, that nothing else was happening until a vote extending Bush-era tax cuts for everyone was held?

That is what we were told............

And NO tax CUTS are on the table. We are debating whether to
1) keep the decade old tax rates, OR
2) accept the DemonRAT tax INCREASE.

I do not understand why the Repubs continue referring to extending tax rates that have been in effect for a decade as the “Bush Tax Cuts”. If anything, they should be referring to the tax rates not being extended as the “Obama Tax Hike”.
