You obviously don’t understand how this works.
There is NO CHANCE WHATSOEVER that any white professor at Occidental, Columbia, or HLS between 1979 and 1993 would have given a person of the African-American persuasion who was an “out” socialist a “C” or a “D”. It is inconceivable.

It is barely possible - and I do mean BARELY - that a brave rebel would have given him a “B”. But not likely.

I’m certain Barry was an “A” student - simply because the system would not allow him to be anything else.

I was at HLS during that time period. It is theoretically possible to get onto law review with poor 1L grades, but the write on is anonymous. Likewise, almost all the grading was anonymous, except in paper classes which didn’t happen until 2d and 3d year.

Once you get into 2d and 3d year, the grading curve is even easier.

The big question would be whether he graduated cum laude or magna cum laude. That should be publicly available on a list of law school graduates or in the HLS alumni directory. If he did not then he would have been a mostly B student. I didn’t know anyone who received a C or below ever in any class. It may have happened, and Prof. Areda was known for giving 3 F’s in antitrust every year, but it was pretty hard to get poor grades. My admin. law final was definitely sufficient to prove that.

You nailed it. Our betters deserve higher grades.

I agree with you. I was a poli sci major at Indiana University at about the same time (and as a conservative, even in college, it was not easy). All you had to do was write that whatever topic we discussed “...showed how the evil American is nothing but man’s inhumanity to man as it transcends the class struggle.” The liberal profs ate that crap for breakfast and loved it. “Oh what a bright young man; he gets it!”

The difference is that I figured out the game to get my grades and get the hell out. 0bama actually believed it, as we see now. And no, he is proving to me that he really isn’t that bright. He is parroting thoughts put into his head by TOTUS. He is such a good speaker at telling lies because he isn’t smart enough to realize he’s lying.
