Heres a piece from Jennifer Rubin calling Obama out on the ignoramus that he is. Rubin hits hard with:
He displays contempt for Americans who dont agree with his flawed policies, in effect instructing them to shut up. But his arrogance is both unwise (these people vote!) and undeserved.
--continued--
Obama was a C or D student in college who was passed and promoted aggressively because he was a smiling, biracial, man with a weird name who more likely than not played up on his Muslim upbringing in Indonesia in all of his college admissions essays and other course work. Thats the sort of thing Columbia and Harvard JUST LOVE so we cant imagine he ever hid any of that. Its what made him interesting to the academic elite this little brown boy raised in the jungles of the Pacific, mentored by Frank Marshall, with that Kenyan last name.
They just ate that stuff up.
Theres a reason Obama wont release those transcripts or any of the other dozens of documents he spends millions of dollars concealing. Historians will eventually find them all, and one day in the future when all of us are long dead future Americans will have a better, if not ever fully accurate, picture of who the 44th President of the United States was.
This is nothing more than unsubstantiated allegations and rumors. THERE IS NO EVIDENCE OBAMA EVER WENT TO ANY OF THESE SCHOOLS. If you have Any Proof whatsoever, let’s see it, this is only hyperbole on behalf of Obama.
SHOW ME THE:
Admission Records
Transcripts
Student Loan Applications
Attendance Records
Grades
Papers
OBAMA ALLEGEDLY went to Occidental and Harvard but there is ABSOLUTELY NO PROOF WHATSOEVER THAT HE ACTUALLY ATTENDED EITHER OF THESE SCHOOLS. If there is Show it to us.
You are suggesting equivalencey?
A C average for a Harvard MBA back in the days when that was one of the nation’s premier business degrees, is nothing to be ashamed of. Dad’s legacy status might have helped W get admitted to Harvard but it wouldn’t have helped him stay there, even Teddy K had to hire someone to try and make the grades to stay in
At least W showed some business acumen before liberal New England political genes and noblesse oblige toward Pelosi did him in
When did Barry or Moochele ever use their Harvard law degrees? Both of them gave up their licenses to avoid disciplinary action for uninvestigated actions in Illinois, BTW
I think this post is closer to the truth than the post which suggests once you’re in, you can slide through. While I never taught at an Ivy League school, I have taught in the Big Ten and my experience is that very few (if any) profs let students slide through simply because they got in.
Well, I don't have current knowledge of Old Nassau, so you may (possibly) be correct.
But when "Obama" was going to HLS, Michelle Robinson was in fact a student at Princeton. Have you read the document which purports to be her senior thesis?
If you have done so, and if you believe Princeton graded blacks on a curve when she was there, you are out of your flippin' mind.
During my sojurn in various Halls, mostly vegetation covered, the lowest effective grade for an African-American student was B- ("F" equivalent). The norm was "A". Everyone who passed through that system knows this.
Perhaps it has changed, I don't know. Based on the performance we see in the White House, I doubt it.
I was at HLS during that time period. It is theoretically possible to get onto law review with poor 1L grades, but the write on is anonymous. Likewise, almost all the grading was anonymous, except in paper classes which didn’t happen until 2d and 3d year.
Once you get into 2d and 3d year, the grading curve is even easier.
The big question would be whether he graduated cum laude or magna cum laude. That should be publicly available on a list of law school graduates or in the HLS alumni directory. If he did not then he would have been a mostly B student. I didn’t know anyone who received a C or below ever in any class. It may have happened, and Prof. Areda was known for giving 3 F’s in antitrust every year, but it was pretty hard to get poor grades. My admin. law final was definitely sufficient to prove that.
Not necessarily. I had a scholarship that was in effect as long as I was a full time student. There were no other conditions.
I agree with Jennifer Rubin, Barry was and is the poster boy for Affirmative Action. As Rush puts it, Barry is always the least qualified person in the room.
There are ... different curves ...
diversity must be preserved. It has been this way since at least the 70’s. An Ivy admission officer flat out told me I was not the right color or socioeconomic class for admission. That was the day the US Air Force gained a new officer candidate.
It's hard not to laugh out loud knowing that was written by Bill "I was born a poor black chile" Ayers.
"In 1966, 22% of Harvard undergraduate students earned A's. By 1996, that figure rose to 46%. That same year, 82% of Harvard seniors graduated with honors.
In 1973, 31% of all grades at Princeton were A's. By 1997 that rose to 43%. In 1997, only 12% of all grades given at Princeton were below the B range.
Come on now.Don’t you know that Barack Obama is America’s first affirmative action president?
Let’s hope he’s the last.
Just because HE claims to be a Law School Lecturer at Harvard and a couple people agreed, does not make it so. I WANT TO SEE REAL ADMISSION RECORDS, and TRANSCRIPTS, until then it is just an UNSUBSTANTIATED ALLEGATION, and under HERESAY RULES would not even be allowed to be brought up in ANY COURTROOM IN AMERICA without Proper Documentation.
Exactly. Also, who writes their autobiography before they turn 40 having done absolutely nothing that is noteworthy. Answer: A self-absorbed ego maniac.
It depends on their connections, and their skin color. I would say 0bama got lots of A's and B's.
Ted getting kicked out, made him immediately available for the draft, right into the Army. The Korean War was on, and of all things, Ted was stationed as a clerk typist in the US Embassy in Paris for his tour. Supposedly no one saw him much.
Yep. On a Spanish test no less which easier to learn than English. But Daddy Joe pulled some strings and he got back in.
I forgot about that, the only standards the left seems to have are double-standards
I back you up...one of my kids went to an Ivy and she worked her butt off. She did quite well, but it did not come easy.
