At issue today my fellow Knights, is this colorful character known as Squirtgun and his fear of fire breathing dragons!Aye, Good King, Squirtgun must be forever banished for he even fears, "Puff The Magic Dragon" who has been in his cave for all the centuries which have passed since Sir Jackie Paper departed. Only fearless knights reside in our fair and fruitful land of Dixie.

Where in your opinion does sovereignty ultimately reside? The king, the federal government, the state, the people of the state, the lumpen mass of the people of the whole country, individuals? I think what Madison says is compatible with the idea of the Preamble that "We the People" hold ultimate sovreignty. As Madison states later in #39, the Constitution sets up a general government that is not wholly national or federal. This composite concept fits in with the divided sovereignty idea. The prevalent error today makes the general government into a fully sovereign national government, but the other extreme of fully sovereign state government is going too far in the other direction.

Far better to have encountered the ‘Squirtgun’ rather than double cannister shot, eh?
C’mon, you know, the shot that is described by contemporary accounts as: “hissing...cutting lanes through the ranks...the loudest roar beyond imagination for hours on end...”
I will not rise to the occasion; men who did so did so long (long) ago...

Now, about "Puff The Magic Dragon", you're gonna have to toughen up to at least him or it's banishment to the Land Of Yankee for you!

I woke up to a Freepmail about it at the crack of dawn, sent by a friend like seconds after it happened.
Merry Christmas!
