EveryDNS.net
EveryDNS.net Status
All systems are functioning normally.
EveryDNS.net provided domain name system (DNS) services to the wikileaks.org domain name until 10PM EST, December 2, 2010, when such services were terminated. As with other users of the EveryDNS.net network, this service was provided for free. The termination of services was effected pursuant to, and in accordance with, the EveryDNS.net Acceptable Use Policy.
More specifically, the services were terminated for violation of the provision which states that "Member shall not interfere with another Member's use and enjoyment of the Service or another entity's use and enjoyment of similar services." The interference at issues arises from the fact that wikileaks.org has become the target of multiple distributed denial of service (DDOS) attacks. These attacks have, and future attacks would, threaten the stability of the EveryDNS.net infrastructure, which enables access to almost 500,000 other websites.
Thus, last night, at approximately 10PM EST, December 1, 2010 a 24 hour termination notification email was sent to the email address associated with the wikileaks.org account.
In addition to this email, notices were sent to Wikileaks via Twitter and the chat function available through the wikileaks.org website. Any downtime of the wikileaks.org website has resulted from its failure to use another hosted DNS service provider.
Ooops, boomerang effect.
orThat can happen when you choose to engage the dialectic method within a discussion.
Nope ;). But as corrupted as things are now, corporations are not capitalism. Neither are the stock exchanges.
However you sound
And you sound a few pixels short of the big picture. All too common, these days.
I am shocked, shocked, to find gambling going on in this establishment.
Awwwww, Hardraade, there's nothing sadder than an anti-capitalist troll. I'd offer you a hanky but I paid for it with U.S. currency, the very currency which is an obvious anathema to you.
Wikileaks as a den of thieves is one of many points that some pro-wikileaks people are missing.
>> That can happen when you choose to engage the dialectic method within a discussion.
But are not dialectics pointless without a discussion?
BTW, I’m pissed at Amazon’s peddling of the infamous book on pedophilia, and its torpid response to the WikiLeaks problem.
“Amazon Explains Why They Ousted WikiLeaks”
Think this through. 1)We know this is a Soro’s Money. 2)We know his goal. 3)We know his hand picked puppet is Obama. 4)We think that Hellary is Obama’s biggest challenger in 2012. We know Amazon pull the “link” just before exposing the Financial business (B of A maybe).
Here’s what I think. The leaks target the Clintions(State Department). The Clintions have their sights on something much higher than president.
Soro is motivated by power and money. Clintions are motivated by Marxist principles and power.
There is a “Power Struggle” a the top of the progress socialist movement.
It’s interesting to me that this only happened after WL said they had damning info about a giant U.S. bank (or two).
Hehe. You’re not gonna impress me by posting at me in purple, my boy.
Try, instead, and rustle up some corporates (and I’m *not* talking about mom&pop businesses) with integrity. Hint: if you pick anything controlled by Obama, Clinton, Soros, Gore or any of their friends, you lose.
Now, coffee :)).
Assange is begging to be on the receiving end of an “extreme prejudice” covert op.
Pfc. Manning needs a court martial and either a firing squad or to live out the rest of his years at Leavenworth.
Neither will occur under this administration.
I didn’t take the poster’s remark as supportive of Wikileaks, just as a criticism of Amazon.
Thanks Jeff ........... Since they’re out there, I’m going through them while still available! I wish there was some way to download them all at one time. Off to work out, have a great day (read your heart moving about page, excellent to say the least).
I won't post the link here out of respect to JimRob, but punch wikileaks ip address into your search engine of choice and you'll get to WL's archive pretty quick.
Rest assured that as soon as the Bank of America documents show up I'll be scouring and harvesting.
This soldiers needs to hang but Wiki Leaks could have done positive things outing corrupt politicians like the usuarper and some of the banksters. Bank America, Goldman and others. Citicorp is another horrible company along with GE.
I will buy a book from Amazon in their honor.
Incredible isn’t it? A smple shut down of their website can shut up a one hit wonder of leaking classified material.
Actually, no, DNS server didn't shut down their website or even the TCp/IP access to it, it just made it a little more difficult to find and/or connect to with the embedded links that refer to its URL - an inconvenience, at most.
Wikileaks, however, now gotten into really serious trouble because eBay subsidiary, PayPal (Wikileaks payments and funds transfer processor) has just frozen their account and cut all access to its account, for the same reason as Amazon - "violation of acceptable use policy".
Now, that's gotta really hurt... big time!
Wiki Leaks was originally started by Chinese dissidents to report human rights abuses. Then it was taken over by Assange. He has since leaked the names and locations of human rights workers in Afghanistan, who are now targeted by Assange thanks to him.
I would not say “tap” him on sight. Capture him, do an extreme rendering to find his other sources and sponsors (Georgy Schwartz?).
As for outing corporations, will Assange set up an extortion operation, after the first few releases?
Thanks bd476.
