Are the policies by “reputable (private) insurance companies” subsidized by tax dollars, or by the pool of policy holders?
A family plan costs just a few more dollars than a plan for the individual & spouse. The reason is kids do not have a large cost foot print on insurance reimbursement dollars.
So, I have to assume the policy holders always bear the cost.
Like I explained, nothing has really changed with the Obamacare in this situation except paperwork will be lot less.
So this particular item in Obamacare is good. I am sure you realize nothing in life is all white or all black. There are always gray areas. Overall Obamacare is awful, but not 100% bad.
