I wouldn't consider Watergate a "minor event".

About 65 people were convicted of felonies. I'm thankful that the judge who sentenced the Cuban burglars wasn't lenient with them. Otherwise, the whole conspiracy would have gone undiscovered. I can't even imagine what crimes remain hidden due to the 18 minute gap on one of Nixon's tapes.

I don't condone Clinton's conspiracy to obstruct justice and I don't condone Nixon's conspiracy to obstruct justice.
