On the other hand there are those folks who think the Moon Landing was faked, and they'd probably argue that what you thought was a Titan missile was actually a cleverly disguised airplane ~ and you couldn't tell the difference (not that I couldn't, but you couldn't).

BTW, the California phenomenon had to do with airplanes and contrails and clouds, and the position of the Sun in the sky (just over the horizon). There was no missile.

Absolutely wrong!

There were no airliners during the time period. ARTC publicly stated this at least twice. Their radar would not of had any liklihood of catching the missile due to the fact that missiles rise vertically and rapidly, while an airliner would have been caught by at least 15 passes of the radar.
