My wife and I have a small business with 2 employees. Since we are a LLC and have a little over 250k in sales one of our employees will be fired before the end of the month and the other will be cut to 30 hours a week.

Make sure you tell them to thank the Democrat party.

I hope they voted for Obama. I would fire all Obama supporters and Democrats.

In this Kafkaesque farce called the Onada Administration there is actually an up side to this. Onada and his band of angry commie cronies continue to alienate broad swaths of the electorate almost daily. He and his crowd will not be relected unless these demented and incestuous souls really believe the US military will enable them.

Another way to look at this is that The Naked Usurpers are now seen to be actually wearing no clothes. These people are damned if they do and damed if they don’t. As someone astutely has already pointed out: How can middle class tax cuts be extended if you’ve been claiming all along there were none. Only the rich got tax cuts is the mantra from the left.

IMHO, consertvatives will be consuming alot of popcorn as we endure the demise of the Usueping Onada presidency.

That said we must be ever vigilent. And we must persistentloy remind those we elected to office that we are watching them. The fight to defeat Marxism is far from over.

Little over $250K?
If “little” is $10k ($260k total), you’re looking at a difference of $300.
$25k ($275k total), $750
$50k ($300k total), $1,500
$100k ($350k total), $3,000
$200k ($450k total), $6,000
$250k ($500k total), $7,500

*IF* you’re “little over” is even double the original figure, you’re looking at maybe having to let a high-school part-timer go.

Now as a small business owner myself, I’m not saying I’ll be happy to fork over any of my hard-earned money but if this amount breaks you to the point that you lose employees, you shouldn’t even be in business. Any one who operates their business with such a small % allowance for change in overhead is a piss-poor money manager.

Why not keep both on at 15 a week? Then you will have zero unemployment at your business...at least the way the gooberment figures things.

If this is true, the reality is that this is something you'd planned long before this vote. Low taxes are better, but here's the reality for a married couple, income of $125,000. Clinton: $23,426.50 (the rates after Bush's 01 and 03 cuts expire), and Bush: $19,462.50. If a $4,000 swing in income on a $125k pre-tax salary causes you to make such drastic changes in your business, they were coming anyway.
