That's all I'm saying. I don't know what Newt is saying, and I'd wager neither does he. And, whatever he's saying, will probably change within the week.

I just wanted to point out that there are measures that could be taken short of lassoing 11M, and dragging them back to Mexico. I'm also pointing out that we won't do that because the Republicans are in bed with big-business who needs cheap labor. Both parties, have their own selfish reasons for keeping illegals here and in large numbers.

But Republicans are also against a massive bureaucratic police state that could be used against us once it is established. Look at the reaction that many have towards the TSA.

I’ll wager he knows exactly what he’s saying and it’s about somehow making a ‘path to citizenship’ sound better. I don’t know that we’ll have any candidate that’s really good on immigration, but it’s clear we’ll have plenty who aren’t.
