That story was put out by the New London Police to calm peoples fears. It seems that if you tell to the sheeple that he was killed because he was buying drugs (drug deal gone bad) it somehow makes us all feel safer. Instead of taking appropriate action, we got to walk around with a rapid pack of miscreants on the loose. The Police told us that it wasn't a random killing and we had nothing to fear.
