They are vulnerable to AAM and SAM missiles, unlike Raptors.

Zoomie kool aid. Used to hear that ad nauseum about the F-117 too.

The Raptors are what gives us that air supremacy primarily by destroying the enemy radar installations and tactical aircraft.

Raptors have yet to be deployed to a combat theater but if and when they are they'll be accompanied by Prowlers providing SEAD.

Yeah, I really wasn’t endorsing the Raptor or discussing it’s presumed benefits. I was trying to explain that Predators aren’t a weapon of first engagement, whereas a Raptor clearly is. Whatever that first engagement weapon may be - Raptor, Hornet, Eagle etc - they’re going to do their thing, probably well before the Predator enters the airspace, at least when we’re talking about theaters of combat where the enemy has capable air defenses.
