It's no secret that [Nicolle] Wallace is no fan of Sarah Palin. But the former Bush communications director and McCain campaign aide perhaps took things to another level with her attack on Palin on today's Morning Joe. Wallace was on to comment on Joe Scarborough's astonishing claim of yesterday, noted here, that "all" conservatives and talk radio hosts with whom he's spoken are harshly critical of Palin off the record, but are afraid to express their views publicly.
Wallace opined that if it ever looked as if Palin were close to copping the Republican presidential nomination, many GOP leaders who have to date been too timid to criticize her would step forward to expose Palin's putative shortcomings. In the course of propounding her theory, Wallace unleashed a hail of criticism of her own:
* "Mistakes were made [by McCain in choosing Palin]." * "Her troubling deficiencies." * "Her incredible cynicism, her bitterness, her aggressive attempts to claw [makes clawing hand-gesture] anyone" who criticizes her. * "Very prickly, very cynical." * "Heaven forbid, the leader of the free world."
Wallace asserted that Republicans hesitate to criticize Palin publicly for fear of angering Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity, whom Nicolle claimed to admire.

The civil war in the Republican Party takes another turn on Wednesday night when Sarah Palin basher Nicolle Wallace lends her name to a fundraiser for a pro-homosexual group called American Foundation for Equal Rights. Wallace, an adviser to the 2008 McCain for President campaign, figures prominently in Sarah Palin’s book, Going Rogue, as someone determined to get her on the CBS Evening News with Katie Couric.
As potentially bad as Palin may be, She is closer to Thatcher than Marx. Which is good enough for me and better than oblah blah, he is closer to Marx.
If Palin became President, not only would that be wonderful for the United States, but as a conservative myself, I would truly relish watching the Canadian left’s collective head explosion. It would be a very, very happy day indeed.

Even on THIS board there is a tremendous amount of energy expended in trashing Governor Palin who is supposedly unqualified/stupid/uneducated/shallow/vacuous and untimately unelectable.

Nicole Wallace was an incompetent failure working on the McCain presidential campaign. She ran to the MSM and back stabbed her candidate Sarah Palin and then continually lied about it.
I don't believe a word she says.
The larger question is who are these “many GOP leaders” who are supposedly backstabbing Sarah Palin to the MSM and are too cowardly to criticize her publicly. Could Joy Behar’s “favorite Republican” be one of these? I doubt he would have gotten such a fawning reception on The View if he were not backstabbing other Republicans in the process. I am sick and tired of Republicans who are too cowardly to stand up for the American people and who only want to curry favor with the MSM and anonymously back stab conservatives.
I do not care what Nicolle Wallace thinks/says. And I am blissfully ignorant of what happens on MSNBC, I haven’t watched a single moment of their coverage since Chris Matthews made his tingling leg comment.
God these people are just bitter, nasty scum!

So, if there was anything to ‘expose’ believe me, it would already have been exposed.
Wallace is one of the rags who helped McCain self-destruct in 08. PMS is an understatement of the condition plauging this poor, tormented soul. The woman she’s worked so diligently to destroy may well be headed for the GOP nomination and beyond which has sent Nicole over the edge.

I despise Nicolle Wallace. The big mystery is WHY she has been - and still is - a frequent guest on Sean Hannity’s FNC TV show. Dump Nicolle, Sean!!
I will vote against anyone that she works for.
Why, if Mrs. Palin is so unqualified, etc. do these people keep talking about her possible future in politics?
I think they are scared to death, because they know that she can eat their lunches and then laugh about it.....
