Yeah, the Courier is a nauseating rag for sure. Even the IV paper is less than half the size it used to be, with bigger margins and blank spaces.

Because OR has such fascist laws about licenses, no one can even advertise in the newspapers offering to do painting, handyman work, or anything. Everyone needs a freaking license, bonding and insurance. And the costs for those have at least doubled - that was some years ago.

It’s as though the a**holes in Salem want to keep people impoverished.
