Yes, but that's because you don't understand how the Republicans have helped to create the situation we are in.
What Cantor means by "the parts that are popular" is, "the parts where we get to spend other people's money". The parts he is willing to do away with are the parts where the money is raised to pay for the benefits he wants to keep.
Ever since prop 13 started the whole corrupt tax cuts without spending cuts GOP game, the Republicans have been willing participants in a dance with the Democrats, and the only losers have been the shrinking productive sector.
OF COURSE Cantor won't repeal the whole bill. He'll keep the benefits, and cut the taxes.
You don’t understand the strategy because you don’t share common goals. Cantor’s goal is to grow government. Period.
Wondering if Cantor is hearing impaired, and needs us to speak a little slower, more distinctly, and perhaps an octave or two louder.
