Rangel does belong in prison for the rest of his life. Ordinary citizen vs government official and ordinary citizen doesn't stand a chance when committing these types of crimes.
Maybe I should look at this another way. Maybe (even though I am not criminally inclined) I should run for a government office. No ... no run for office for me! Now I'm discouraged again.
I guess expecting Honest and Law Abiding from our elected is out with the bath water.....(frown).
You’re right, it’s a shame that so many people have come to the point they don’t care that many elected to office are corrupt at the very least and hardened criminals at the worst. I suppose it reflects to some degree that morals have really taken a hit in the country.
