BS! This policy is designed to destroy the effectiveness or our Armed Forces. For Secretary Gates and Admiral Mullen to support/promote it means they are traitors!

Exactly right on the reasons for this. Expect the senior brass like Adm Mullen to go along with this. Don't forget these senior people have 30 or more years invested in a military career. They don't want to retire with a bad mark on their records or for that matter jeopardize their pension. I feel bad for the career people. They can't really speak out. The system was not designed with a corrupt leftist regime in mind.

I understand what you are saying but am not as forgiving.

There was a time when Service Chiefs would resign rather than promote & implement destructive policies. Recently a CNO committed suicide because his honor was destroyed. Those are the men we used to promote.

Now Secretary Gates has shown himself to be an Obama lick-spittle without honor. But he is a civilian politician whose lack of integrity is almost expected.

For Admiral Mullen to betray the Navy in this fashion is unpardonable. It is beyond the pale. It is not the only area in which he is breaking the faith.

No. Obama and his handpicked minions are destroying our Armed Forces. At the same time they are rapidly building their own Brown Shirts for oppression at home. And it is all moving very rapidly.
