I use neodymium CFL’s. They’re pleasing and have a more pleasing contrast than old-fashioned yellow light.

Neodymium is a rare earth element - if there really is a rare earth shortage, and if China does intend to monopolize their sale, there’s a chance that those CFL’s won’t drop much (if any) in price in the future. Which would be a shame - I’ve heard nothing but good about CFL’s.
