Forgot to comment on the wheelbarrow picture. Notice Michelle Obama wearing work gloves while not actually doing any work, while she has the 2 kids who ARE doing the work and they aren’t given gloves to wear. In her mind I guess it is, “They are 2 future migrant workers, so they might as well get used to poor working conditions now”.
She could get on a team of four and pitch 2000 bales of a hay in a couple of days. Or not. The Obama’s are weak. Period

Not holding onto that rake very tightly, huh. It might mess up her manicure. Most women put their hair in a ponytail or up under a hat when doing outdoor work, but MO puts on a freshly styled wig. Put that up against Sarah Palin and her girls elbow deep in fish guts and having some quality family time. What a study in contrast.

Somewhere I read that the ground keepers actually did the hard work on the garden, and another agency (Forestry Service??) “salted” the garden with the vegetables for her to pick in front of the cameras. The cost of making & maintaining this garden ran into the hundreds of thousands of dollars. I can buy fresh vegetables much cheaper than that without the work.
