3. Compliment the way she looks
Not if she is super attractive. She hears it all the time and you won't make an impression. There are 2 things you can do:
1. Point out something that is UNATTRACTIVE with her looks
2. Compliment her on her intelligence, sense of humor, etc. but anything but her looks

As a person of super-ordinary looks - see my profile - that never occurred to me. However, I would think that even a very beautiful woman wouldn’t mind being told, “Those are really neat shoes!” or “The beading on your dress is so festive!”
Maybe that’s the kind of thing only women say to one another, while men are limited to, “Hey, a butt!”

For a beautiful woman, a compliment on her appearance that reflects looking beyond the surface can be very effective. Such as:
I love the way your eyes sparkle when you smile!
Just make sure it’s true.
