The Obamao family is about to leave for their Hawaii vacation. No doubt there is advance surveillance in preparation for their arrival.

From KHON TV:

New details on two men arrested near military housing

Two men from the mainland are into custody Saturday night after military officials say they tried to get into several military bases on Oahu. Sources say the men claimed they were independent contractors for T-Mobile and needed to get on base.

The bomb squad was called after authorities spotted what appeared to be wires coming out of different parts of the mens' SUV.

Tense moments outside the gate to Aliamanu Military Reservation Saturday afternoon, with the bomb squad checking out a black SUV, after officials feared it could have explosives inside.

"The military always takes precautions to safeguard its personnel and its families an so when theres an ounce of suspicion we always take appropriate actions," said Col. Mike Donnelly of the U.S. Army Pacific.

Donnelly says it all started earlier Saturday when two men in the SUV tried to get into several military bases. We're told the bases included Schofield Barracks, Fort Shafter and Fort Shafter Flats, and that the men said they were independent contractors for T-Mobile.

"And the military police put out what we call a "be on the look out" list," said Connelly. So when the men approached the gate to the Aliamanu Military Reservation around 1:45 this afternoon, authorities apprehended them. Sources say T-Mobile confirmed the two men worked for the company, but were not sent by the company to the military bases.

"These two individuals are being processed for their intent and they were aiming to do in terms of accessing military bases which is a controlled area for us," said Connelly. Honolulu police also shut down the Ala Kapuna freeway off-ramp while the bomb squad investigated.

Donnelly would not say if any explosives were found in the SUV, but the vehicle was moved and the off-ramp reopened around 5:30 Saturday evening.

In other news, Janet Napalitano has authorized every law enforcement officer to stop and search every SUV they see in every city and state.

Obama has approved the installation of full-body detectors at the threshold of every home in the US. And the TSA workforce will be enhanced by hiring 1.5 million Mexican and Somali immigrants to perform full-body cavity searches on each individual who wishes to drive.

Just a couple of dumb@ss RF engineers drive testing for RF signal strength and coverage area. Probably thought they could go wherever the signals they were trying to measure went. Dumb @ss engineers! No pie for you.
