YEONPYEONG ISLAND, South Korea (AP) — Residents of South Korea’s Yeonpyeong Island have been ordered to evacuate to shelters and safe areas on the island.
Sirens blared Sunday morning and announcements ordered residents to take shelter.
Yonhap news agency reported the warning was given because North Korea may fire artillery. South Korea’s military said it was trying to confirm the report.
Palkot on FOX says he is evacuating the island per orders and danger.
