We are. The absolute peak of the abortion industry was in 1991 just prior to the election of Clinton, where the industry had over 21 thousand clinics across America. Now there are only 700, and falling.
The Boomers, who didn’t vote for Clinton, didn’t vote for any of this, somehow aren’t culpable for the expansion of the industry after Roe to the massive edifice we’re now trying to destroy. They don’t continue to fund Planned Parenthood, they don’t oppose laws which permit government funding of abortion, and they continue to take their grandkids and daughters to the clinics to keep them running today.
If Boomers were sincerely opposed to abortion as a whole, it never would have gotten as far as they did, and they wouldn’t have had as many abortions as they did. They would have said yes to their children, and not no, and instead of attacking people for calling them out, they would say, you know, we messed up.
You think that the greatest generation were the ones having the abortions? No. And right off the bat, the first response is that you should blame your parents for the whole mess instead of accepting responsibility.
Yes, it’s the largest holocaust in American history. 50 million Americans are dead because of the policies of 1972. And now, we are the ones who are going to undo the policies because the Boomers were too concerned about themselves.
Do you think it’s a coincidence that 19 years after Roe is when the industry hit it’s peak? All the Boomers lined right up for their abortions, and when the folks who had to live through all of it, they said no, and have been increasingly saying no since then.
“Who the heck do you think voted for abortion in whole, that you blame boomers for that?”
Gee, I dunno. Clinton perhaps? Oh right, Clinton didn’t preside over the extension and expansion of Roe. Didn’t say that abortion should be ‘safe, legal and rare.’ Didn’t pass FACE, didn’t try prolife organisations as terrorists.
Gee, that wouldn’t be the boomer style at all.
I just hope I don't have to watch the reckoning. Or hear it. Or smell it.
Mmmmm, you have certainly decided that everything is “The Boomers’ Fault”. Good luck with all that, at the Judgment Seat. Really, I wish you well.
