No, not because she's a woman and no, Obama wasn't qualified either. All the things she did in Alaska was great, but it's not what sticks in the mind of most Americans. They're not going to "read her book" like most Sarah supporters suggest. What sticks in their minds is "I can see Russia from my house." I spoke to my neighbors who usually vote Democrat as to why they voted for McCain. Obama was too radical for them and McCain was a war vet. When I mentioned Palin, they both rolled their eyes and thought she was the reason he lost. When I explained that she's not the twit the media makes her out to be, the wife made a jiggly sound and shook her head. Regardless of what she did as governor, many people weren't impressed with her when she first made a national debut.

By the way, she was content to return to AK after the national election and go to work, but the haters wouldn’t let her. A good politian sees down the road and around the corner. Sarah let herself get backed into a corner and ended up resigning. I was very, very disappointed when she resigned. Giving great speeches is a lot different than actual experience. Busting heads in Anchorage may be much easier than going toe to toe with the poweres that be in DC.

LOL, that was brilliant, she came down here, went national, and helped lead us to one of our greatest victories in history, outside of Reagan this is the first time that conservatives have been poised to get one of ours into the White House.

Palin's resignation was the start of something that we have dreamed about, before, and since Reagan, a charismatic, national leader for conservatives, a movement leader, that the media can't destroy.
